The staff was very nice and the food was great! The chorizo breakfast plate was excellent, I would definitely order it again. I'd reccomend ordering the migas and more plate with light cheese. I'm grateful for the staff entertaining my grandmother who was a bit antsy at the time. Excellent spot overall!

Laura is amazing . You can tell she knows how to run her ship. She served my family. It was amazing. We all ordered the enchiladas and we were highly satisfied. If you drive thru here you have to stop here no questioned asked. Great food and great service

On our way through Texas to get to Austin and needed a place to stop and eat. Mexican sounded good, so we navigated here. Great choice! Really cute decor both inside and out, colorful and one-of-a-kind! The staff also had a charming, carefree kind of attitude that made you laugh. We were told to sit anywhere and were immediately served chips and Texas-sized beverages! They know their traveling guests come in thirsty from the hot road. Given individualized attention from start to finish. Really tasty food too! Arrived hot and plentiful-- had to take a to-go box. Noticed they had some outdoor seating too. Awesome place; check it out!

I remember driving along the interstate, filled up with gas, and asked the clerk for dinner suggestions. She pointed to the fast food joint across the way. I shook my head and asked where she would eat and mentioned Pepe's, adding it's downtown. I said that's fine.
I followed her directions, parked, admired the wall decorations, ordered something with green chili, and bought a souvenir hat.
That was in 2001. I don't remember what I ate (other than the green chili) or the service, but I still have the hat. -

Great place for lunch. Good guacamole, soft chicken tacos, rice and beans. Service was friendly & excellent. Not a lot of choices in this part of the country, it makes it nice to find a good one!
